Forehand:
In counter-attacks the speed of Kasalla is immediately noticeable. The ball rebounds directly and stays on the racket for only a short moment. This allows you to press your opponent with small, short strokes. While playing topspin, all offensive qualities of the racket become evident. For comparison, the ball strike is slightly softer and the ball gains a lot of spin.
With soft or medium-hard rubber, such as Secret Flow Chop, a light catapult effect is created, increasing the flight curve of the ball and thus offering you more time to prepare for the next stroke. In passive play, the core of the blade slows incoming balls and provides excellent control when blocking.
Backhand:
This wooden blade is designed for players who want to attack with a long push (long pips) on the backhand. The high base speed of the blade allows you to place the ball well and play very close to the edge of the table. This creates time pressure on the opponent. Especially with plastic balls this is a big advantage.
In addition, when playing with long pips you do not need to perform long movements when blocking or slicing. The quality of the balls remains consistently high. With short pushes the wooden blade becomes a "real weapon" and your balls have huge penetrating power due to the built-in catapult effect.
What rubber combinations do we recommend:
1. Forehand: inner pips ( Secret Flow Chop) – Backhand: long pips (long pips - HellFire X)
2. Forehand or backhand Short pips (HASS) on the other side, see the suggestion above
3. Classic rubbers of your choice
The Kasalla wooden blade is a classic wood blade, so you can combine it with any rubber combination. However, since the company Sauer&Troger is aimed at “PIMPLE” players, we have prepared different suggestions under points 1 and 2. Of course you can replace the aforementioned rubbers with other models, for Hallmark rubbers, etc...

Be the dominator of your game !!! The rubber is intended for players who play with pips and want an optimal balance between high speed and good control.
Hass also makes a good impression in defensive play. Because of the slightly longer pips, the ball penetrates deeper and can be blocked or pushed with excellent feel. If you want more control, your sponge must be thinner!
Sebastian Troger’s tip:
Short Hass pips are ideal for attacking players who prefer active shots and do not want to give up excellent control at good base speed. They allow players to perform very active play near the table while keeping a very low error rate.
Conclusion: Hass is especially ideal for players with short pips who focus on every single point. The rubber offers the optimal balance of maximum speed and good control.

is especially suitable when transitioning from defensive to offensive play. In this case, the rubber tolerates a lot of mistakes that can occur during fast ball rallies. We developed Secret Flow Chop in combination with long pips (mushrooms) on the backhand and thus created a tailor-made offensive rubber for players with pips.
Recommended playing system:
We recommend versions 1.5 mm and 1.8 mm for a classic defensive player or a player who plays close to the table and pays a lot of attention to control. Because of the “SC-Sponge” you can alternate between short and long balls. The 2.1 mm version is perfect for the modern player who takes advantage of every opportunity to attack. In attack, strokes are executed quickly, high speed can be achieved without loss of control, which usually happens with too hard a sponge.
